Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, ripe citrus, spicy resinous notes, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Opens with a quick hit of spicy resinous herbal notes, followed by a mix of zesty citrus, tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, some a little over ripe, pineapple, grapefruit, white grape, tangerine, passion fruit, apricot, peach, lime, lemon, and a hint of guava, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness. A touch of alcohol can poke through as it warms.
M: Full body, slightly prickly moderate carbonation.
O: This one is interesting. The best way I can describe it is that I'm getting some of the same vibes that I do from kinda old school DIPAs. You can tell it's big; there's an almost over ripe/grilled element to some of the fruity notes (especially the big hit of pineapple), and there's plenty of sweetness. That's is not necessarily a bad thing, and it's countered with the resinous spicy notes up front. It's just not quite what I was expecting. Gonna have to retry this one.
