We’ve been huge fans of Billy Strings since he played our 5yr anniversary in 2018. It has been an absolute thrill to watch his rise to fame since then and we’re so stoked he gets to play for 60,000 people in Golden Gate Park next weekend. Slow Train Pale is an easy drinking West coast Pale designed to deliver hops and resin in crispy format with a sessionable ABV. Equal parts Motueka, Krush, Simcoe and Citra Cryo bring us all a crushable pale perfect for a summer afternoon.

Tap at Belmont Station. Colour is clear gold with a pillowy white head. Nose is quite hoppy for a pale with a distinct lean towards tropical fruit aromas. Palate is full and spritely with dusty hops, hop resin and pine needles. The mid palate gets dry rather astringent before the long, and tightly wound finish. Refreshing!

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Slightly dank and woodsy, resinous pine, zesty citrus, tropical and stone fruit, floral notes , a touch grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lime, lemon, grapefruit, and tangerine, tropical and stone fruit, apricot, peach, guava, mango, mixed berries, and passion fruit, resinous pine, a bit grassy and floral, underlying woodsy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, super easy drinking.
O: Classic Cellarmaker, packing a ton of flavor into a super drinkable pale ale. The woodsy notes from the Krush that I'm not the biggest fan of come through on the back side as it warms, but that's not enough to slow me down.
