We cooked this one up with our friends at Highland Park Brewery, and it’s got some serious flavor. Sizzle Sauce is a West Coast IPA dripping with Idaho 7, Idaho 7 Cryo, Simcoe, Krush Cryo, and Columbus Cryo, serving up a perfect balance of citrusy zest, tropical tang, and that dank, piney snap. It’s bright, sticky, and loaded with hop drip — the kind of beer that lights up your palate without burning it out. Clean, crisp, and full of spark — this one’s got the sauce.

Clear bright pale yellow brew with plenty of foam in the tall IPA glass. The aroma is quite extravagant with lemon and tangerine, and melon in the nose. Sudsy and mouthfilling carbonation. There is a pleasing amount of malty sweetness to start but a seriously sharp finish. Bitterness is distinct but actually fairly restrained given the massive amount of hop flavor and intensity. Some harshness in the back of the throat after some sipping. Tastes of lemon-lime soda with some quinine and a shot of mango nectar. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. No date but a collaboration with Highland Park.
