They say you only YOLO once… so we cast aside all subtleties and nuance to put together this no-regrets IPA built on a ridiculous lineup of Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Riwaka. Bright citrus, sticky pine, blueberry kush, and passionfruit funk all collide in a big, loud, flavorful blast. It’s soft on the palate but definitely doesn’t flake on hop expression. Full-bodied, aromatic, a little dank, and a lot tropical, YOLO Once is a wild ride for the senses.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and
S: Grassy, resinous, citrus zest, hints of Southern Hem diesel, a touch of slightly under ripe tropical and stone fruit, and biscuity malt.
T: Bright zesty citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon lime, resinous pine, spicy grassy notes, underlying tropical and stone fruit, white peach, green pear, blueberry, passion fruit, apricot, and green papaya, faint Southern Hem diesel, biscuity malt, and just a hint of sweetness on a fairly dry finish.
M: Medium body, slightly prickly moderate carbonation, yet soft on the palate.
O: Lively and bright, but I kinda wish the Riwaka took a half a step back and the Citra took a half a step forward to better balance things as the front end is very green, while the back end could use a bit more ripe fruit. Maybe a touch of extra sweetness would do the job too. I could see this hitting better on a warmer day. For now it's solid but slightly flawed.
