We teamed up with Fort George for this West Coast double IPA loaded with Nectaron, Experimental NZH-106, Amarillo, Amarillo Cryo, and Cascade Cryo. Nectaron brings passion fruit and stone fruit while the experimental NZH-106 adds its own unique tropical twist. Amarillo delivers that classic orange and peach character, amplified by the cryo for extra punch. Cascade Cryo rounds it out with bright citrus and floral notes.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Resinous, citrus zest, underlying tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, grassy, faintly herbal, biscuity bready malt, and a hint of caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous and spicy, a mix of exotic, tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, gooseberry, passion fruit, mango, peach, apricot, grape candy, and guava, zesty citrus, grapefruit, orange, and lemon, grassy earthy herbal undertones, biscuity bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness. A hint of alcohol can poke through as it warms.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, a bit chewy.
O: This one gives old school vibes with some new school flair; ripe fruit countered with zesty resin and a firm malt backbone. (That green earthy side comes on stronger as it warms.) I think dialing back the Cascade a touch would make it a bit cleaner and let the fruitier side shine a bit more, especially the NZH-106. It's solid and I hope they hit what they were going for, but as a big fan of both Cellarmaker and Fort George, I wish I liked it more.
