Békésszentandrási Serfőzde (Agro Flott Bt.)

Poured from 330mL bottle into a wine glass. Bottle says this is the 2022 batch, best by 10/10/25.

Appearance: medium golden hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: quite sweet with a dose of treacly breadiness to the malt and a bit of a pear-like fruity character. Not bad at all.

Taste: malt is sweet, for sure, but it’s not too hot or boozy; there’s a nice pear character mixed in with a hint of clove. A pretty solid tripel!

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: like I said, a solid tripel. The booziness starts to come in more as it warms up, but still, this is a quality example of the style.
