Went on my first date with my girlfriend here in October 2020. We have gone back again, and would definitely do it again next time I am up in Ohio. I have always enjoyed their beer, and the quality as been consistent, even if they aren't outstanding. In any case, the food is amazing, the burgers and appetizers are all first rate, and there is always a wide range of styles available and constantly rotating on tap. Maybe it has a soft spot for memories, but this is always worth going to try out a new beer or specialty keg.

Very much enjoyed the beer, the food, and the service. Very pleasant and knowledgeable bar tender. Great food and comfortable surroundings. Low key and not flashy.

Most of the beer I have had here has been very good. Doc's Scotch is great! The food is good, but limited menu. Really nice atmosphere. Worst thing is they charge $2.00 for a 2 ounce sample!

Stopped by there while in Amish country. Nice little local bar that has its own brewery. Also has food as well. Will probably visit again.

Very cool place for a small town. Most of the brews are pretty average, but the atmosphere is very good along with the service. Not much else to pick from outside of their own beers though.

I made my second visit to MBC early on a Sunday afternoon. As I walked in there was a lounge area with a couple couches, chairs and a coffee table. the bar was on the right side, long and straight. There were tables and chairs on the left side. At the rear of the building was the brewing equipment behind a glass wall.
I bellied up to the bar and sampled a few beers that I had not tried on my previous visit. The beer is decent, nothing great, but definitely not bad. After a couple samples, my best gal and I developed a hunger. MBC is connected to Bags Sports Bar via an outdoor patio. MBC does not have food, but Bags does. Both places are owned and under the same liquor license. I was able to take my MBC beer over to Bags to eat, which I thought was beneficial.
The crowd at MBC seemed to be a lot of bikers. I guess this is a stop of motorcycle enthusiasts traveling through Amish country. The bartender and people I talked to were friendly. I even purchased a 750ml bottle of their barrel aged Doc's Scotch Ale. It is a worthwhile stop and is only 20-25 minutes from JAFB which makes them a nice pair of breweries to hit. I will definitely go again. I like the setup, and the beer is worth another try.
