Based on a weekday late lunch visit, this brewpub is well worth a visit. This is especially true if you are fond of Belgian style beers. Their beers are Belgian inspired and well crafted with, for instance, a dubbel and a Belgian Pale Strong that would not disappoint even in Belgium. Their food menu goes beyond regular bar fare with entrees such as a Thai peanut chicken pizza.
The location is very near the end of a move bike trail.

Actually visited the unlisted production facility on edge of town. Permanent food truck on site. Only open during summer, but less congested than main location.

Great food and amazing beers, in a hopping spot. The service was friendly and effective, if stretched a bit thin. Kitchen seemed a bit in the weeds, but everything came out solid. The beer is delicious, and the choice of options from the brewery is diverse. Great place and would come again.

This place is one of my favorite places ever. Their pizzas and popcorn are the best. Great beers to match. Burgers on Fridays, and special menus every once in awhile....Stuff like seared octopus, shrimp and grits, etc. Great vibe, cool covered outdoor seating area and in the winter a curling league.... But don't ask about the secret tap, there is no secret tap.

Stopped by and it was packed during the day, but it was the Holidays and a Blues band was about to start. I need to visit again and try the food. Service was a little slow but the 3 beers we tried were solid. Nice area to visit.

The place had over a dozen beers to try. The waitress was knowledgeable on the brews available and was very helpful with my selection. We had a flat bread pizza which even this fussy from Chicago pizza eater loved. It was busy but not overly loud which was very nice. They had an outdoor drinking area with some relaxing chairs and a very nice atmosphere. They even had a large selection of table games in case a group of friends wanted to play after eating or just while sampling brews. All in all a very pleasant place and I can't wait to go back.

Finally got to Stormcloud this year after having had people pick up some of their brews for me. The pub is airy and roomy, with seating both in and out. Large bar area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beer was excellent. Menu is simple; flatbreads, salads and soups, wraps, and mac and cheese. Quality is awesome. Frankfort is very much a touristy/resort town, so it's nice to find a place that would fit in any city rathe than typical tourist fare.

It is hard to believe that this place has only been open for around 2 years. They specialize in Belgian style beers and know what they are doing. Everything I had was spot on for the style and very enjoyable. Our service was great ,they had a large selection of beers to choose from for being a newer brewery and the pizza we had was very good.

9/11/24 This visit is the third or forth since my initial review. Each time we stop here we really enjoy the beers, food and vibe. It's no different this time, and there are no significant changes to note, and my rating factors have not changed. This is the first time we sat on the covered patio, and I'll note that it is dog friendly out there. One beer of significance to note is Commander, which is a foeder-aged Kviek yeast ale. If you like non-sour barrel-aged beers, this one's for you.

This was stop #4 on a week-long pub crawl for my wife and I. This brewery is located on the main downtown street in this small, touristy community. A nice-looking beer garden is situated at the side of the pub (part of it covered by a wrap-around porch roof) and looked inviting, but we chose a table inside the pub to experience the great vibe in this place. A long bar is along one side at the rear of the dining area, and it has an old time look to its style. We came here for lunch and to try the beers. It was a slow day because the tourist season had ended, so the service was excellent.
There were 18 beers listed on the menu board behind the bar, but 5 were tapped out with no replacement. A cider, a mead, and three basic wines (red, white and sweet white) were also on the board. We chose to order a sampler flight of 8 beers so that we could try as many as possible without over-indulging since we had other pubs to visit that day. Let me tell you, for being a relatively new brewery, these brewers have their beers and recipes very well created and dialed-in to the equipment. Additionally, they are already involved with barrel aging of their beers. Most of the beers are from Belgian-inspired recipes, and they were tasty. Two of the beers that we had were aged in tequila barrels (a Belgian Strong Ale and an Imperial IPA), and both of them knocked our socks off. Every beer except the Rainmaker Belgian-style Pale Ale scored at least a B grade in our scoring system, and the pale ale came in at a B minus.
The food menu is exciting with the offerings that are listed for lunch, and we definitely enjoyed what we ordered. We scored the food with the same high marks as the beer.
The vibe, the beers, the food, the service – all were great. A visit to this brewpub is highly recommended.
