Roomy two-story brewpub with 12 house beers and 12 guest beers on tap. A their house beers are unfiltered and naturally carbonated by secondary fermentation. A Belgian inspired brewery with a great list of Belgian bottles available including Cantillon, Westmalle, Dupont and Orval. 25% off for all takeaway bottles. Food menu available as well.

Very nice spot, tucked away just off the main drag in Aberdeen. Belgium inspired brews. They do the style pretty well. They have some really killer guest drafts, stuff I've never seen, being from the states. A great place to get a beer and enjoy some decent grub.

Hidden gem in the heart of Aberdeen that I had the pleasure of discovering a few years back.
The place itself is wonderfully modern, steampunk, and crafty with great high ceilings, inlaid bottle walls, and great heavy wooden tables almost reminding you of a meadhall. It's wonderfully personal like a pub, but it has all the trappings of a modern, spacious brewery. The bar is crammed with nameless taps, and gigantic chalk boards high up on the wall display the beers on draught, but the barmen are knowledable enough to give you a wildcard beer if you're looking for something specific.
The scene is quite artisan, attracting young folk mainly, and connoisseur types, but the prices are decent, and the vibe pleasing across the board making it an attractive place to convene for anybody.
The service is excellent, and the barfolk keen to get you into new things from their huge selection; I gave into the temptation to stay and drink and chitchat for a bit longer than I should've knowing damn well I had a flight to catch. They have a beer for every taste and occasion either bottled or tapped or present in their food menu which indeed uses beer in every dish; I had a large Fresian stew served inside a bap bowl - almost went for the beer soup.
All in all I'd highly reccommend Six*North, whether you're a screaming beer nerd or just fancy a quick one on the way past, then they'll sort you out.
