Super dark Ruby brown, a search for a tad bit of carmal and chocolate smell, a good bitterness to chocolate taste

From the bottle, it pours a nice dark brown with a lovely large thick light tan head. Lacing as you drink. In the nose, you get caramel and roasted malts. In the mouth, it is the same. Enjoyable - great price due to it's age.

L: Great job! Nice looking head and appropriate color and darkness.
S: Nothing going on here.
T: I was between a 3.5 and 3.75 for this. I gave a 3.75 because they pulled a lot of flavor out for 6.2% ABV.
F: Good. Fits the bill for its ABV and style.
O: For the price, not a bad buy.

Distinctly average. BBC does way better than this with their standard (i.e. non-'table & vine' offerings.
