Tasted on tap at Bukowskis in Boston on April 2, 2016

Small head but it leaves a cross between spots and ring lace. Very cloudy with an orange-light Amber color.

Smells like a typical APA, meaning good pale malt base a slight hop nose.

Leans more blonde than IPA. I also detect an interesting Christmas style spice. Good hop finish and aftertaste. Smooth body with a lightly elevated carbonation.

Overall, a very easy to drink beer.

Moderately hazy golden/orange with a thick white frothy head.

Delicious fruity hop aroma. Citrus heavy.

Earthy hop taste, a bit of malt character as well, balancing it out. Im a bit surprised at how good this is, a solid beer. Ive had other Berkshire beers, some decent and some bad (shabadoo) but this one is one of their best in my opinion.

Solid IPA.
Great mouthfeel too.

It's okay but tastes more like an English style IPA then an American IPA

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a mug glass.

A: The beer is a bright gold color, with a large off-white head that fades very slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains earthy hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out with a hearty malt character that is followed by sweet flavors of caramel and citrus. Then a strong but subdued earthy hops bitterness comes in and provides a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, decent representation of style, it’s a solid beer but there are several others in the style that I would choose first.

Pours a light fizzy head that hits about a finger and fades at a med pace, nice soapy lacing, mostly clear honey blond color with touches of floating sediment.

Nose brings floral herbal hops, little black tea, flowery, bit of stone fruit pit like, little apricot and fruit syrup, bit of candied dandelion, some sweet candy like malt.

Taste brings more of the same, quite bitter, with earthy herbal hops, again that black tea herbal flavor, flowery floral flavours, candied dandelion, grassy as green field plants, etc. Light fruity flavor, candied jam apricot pit flavor. Quite bitter, attempts to balance with sweet candy like malts but fails, the sweet syrupy flavours take opposite sides and don't blend well, then chewy spicy hops really dominate to really smash that anything balance. Finish is dry but sticky, more syrupy malt, candied flowers, herbal tea, and briny spicy hops.

Mouth is med bod, decent carb, little syrupy.

Overall meh, just meh.

look was nothing like a blonde. darker almost brown color. not a hoppy ipa, but the taste was excellent - but more of a straight ale. a bit heavier than expiated. very good overall.

After having Lost Sailor, this is a pretty aggressively hopped ipa for bbc. The blond base beer definitely gives it more of a lager body though.

Berkshire Blonde IPA pours a hazy honey yellow, with a big thick head on top. The foam fades slowly leaving netted patterns of lace on the glass.

The aroma is malty with notes of bread and flowery hops. Each sip of this medium bodied beer is creamy with mild carbonation. The flavor has nice notes of bubblegum, tropical fruit, bread, and flowers/hops. It finishes somewhat dry and mildly bitter. Once gone the fruity notes linger on the palate.

This beer reminds me of a British Bitter more than an American IPA. If you like British style beers, you'll like this one.

A-hazy gold body with big white head. Fades and leaves spotty lacing.
S-heavy on the malts. Caramel and toffee.slight earthy hoops.
T-definitely malt forward. Isn't a bad thing but not what I expected. Cut off by some hop bitterness.
M-thick body medium carb.
O- I like most brews from Berkshire but this was a miss for me. I expected something lighter given the name blonde but I suggest you give it a try and decide for yourself.
