On tap, AOBF 2004...
Deep burnt sienna color, orangey light transmission. Thin head, flat with tiny bubbles. Minimal lacing on the glass -- coating. Malty aroma, a trace of what seemed to be mild oxidation but with prune tones helping out. Respectably heavy in texture, slight alcohol even up front, with flavors of candied cherry, vermouth, and raisins. Long finish with more than-expected hops and a continued "cocktail" impression into the aftertaste. Aside from a quibble with smell, quite a good beer here.
