This American version of a traditional Bohemian Pilsner is a true lager, brewed to emulate the original style born in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia. Berkshire uses authentic Pilsner floor malt from the Czech Republic in this classic beer. Light in color, our Pilsner is dry, crisp, and pungently hopped with Czech Saaz hops to impart a rich aroma with a subtle bitterness to the finish.

Canned 5/26/20
Another can that's been neglected in my fridge for a while in favor of better options. At any rate, I felt like something classic on this nice night
Pours a lightly cloudy gold with 2 fingers of white head that fades to a cap at a reasonable rate, leaving rings and patchy lacing in its path
Some nice floral notes in the aroma. A touch of honey, grassy hops, lightly spicy yeast, and a soft doughy malt
On the front, it's hoppier than expected, and sweeter than expected on the swallow. Starts off with sharp but clean noble hops, crisp malt, and a touch of apple. The swallow mellows this out, with honey at the forefront backed up by more sweet malt and a touch of pepper to clean things up
A light medium body combines with light tingling carbonation for a refreshing drink, if not a tad heavy for the style. Definitely drinks like it has a higher abv than it actually does. Could stand to have way more dryness on the finish, it coats the mouth for sure
It wasn't bad overall, but certainly nothing impressive. Simple and somewhat refreshing, but the sweetness bogs it down

Look: Great color, nice lacing, a touch hazy
Aroma: Light malt smell, a touch of hops
Taste sweet Brady malt, lager yeast, slightly picky and floral, ends with a nice balance of sweet, dry, and bitter. Get a very slightly fruit taste at the end.
Feel: Needs more carbonation and a thicker feel. Feels very thin even for a relatively thin style.
Overall: A nice beer, but not as good as summer fest, sunshine Pils.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle, into a modified tulip glass.
A - Bright straw colored, nice clarity and wonderful lazy carbonation. Feeding a snow white cap.
S - Floor malts, cracker, a hint of Noble, all unassumingly well done.
T - Biscuit, a bit of lemongrass, and solid pilsner malt base.
F - Starts strong, with a bit of bite, finishes a a tough Diacetyl but no offenses here.
O - I look forward to this release each season, this one does not disappoint.
Cheers all

Small head even from a fairly violent pour. The color is dark for the style: dark gold. Almost clear. Very little lace on the glass--I count three spots after two sips.
Light and grainy nose. Soft and sweet malt predominates; nearly no hop. Smells refreshing.
Starts with a neutral pale malt flavor. The finish is less hoppy than most American versions of this beer. I find this beer to be on the sweet side, as if it didn't completely ferment. The body matches this theory. The carbonation does keep up, though. I find this beer to be closer to a Kölsch or a Blonde because of the low hop profile. There's quite a bit of raw grain and grassiness. The aftertaste is like bread dough and lasts a relatively short time.

From the 650 ml. bottle. Best by 11/10/15.
Murky, yellow, heady pour. Lively carbonation.
The aroma is vibrant with toasted biscuit and bread, Euro malts, and grassy, clean hops.
The body is fuller than some pilseners - maybe medium
The taste has a mild toasted dough and sweet character. The bitterness is in the background and probably mild and grassy like the aroma. I found it to be refreshing on this 88 degree day.
