This beer pours a dark ruby brown color with a decent tan head that has pretty good retention. Smells of nice toasted malts, getting maybe some of that bourbon smell. This is where things get odd, kind of a tart taste thats lingers and is pretty unappealing. with some bready biscuty notes.
