I like oatmeal. I like oatmeal in beer. I like IPAs. Let's see how BBC does this.

A- Bomber into a tall goblet with a murky orange-copper body and a white cap. The head is creamy-foamy in consistency and rises up to about half an inch high with fairly good retention. Lacing begins with a sheet around the whole glass and webs drizzle down plentifully below that.

S- Hops and malts about equal in the aroma with pine, citrus and floral character balanced out by sweet crystal, biscuit, toast and bready grains.

T- The Cascade takes some time and warmth to open up but it eventually comes out to take a slight edge over the malts which are prominent here as well. Grapefruit and zesty orange citrus hops with floral, pine resin and herbal hints laid over toasty, bready, sweet, biscuit and cereal grain malt tones.

MF- The oats are noted here as they give the beer that classic silky smooth consistency. The carbonation comes down very softly even at a rather high level. Ends with a clean moderate hoppy bitterness.

Bring on the Cascade, some toasty and prominent malts and a silky mouthfeel thanks to the oats and you have a pretty solid IPA. Despite the malts being just about equal to the hops it works out as there is no awkward sweetness or over caramelization. Pleasant.

A - Orange, hazy body with particulates and a large pillowey white head. Fades slowly and leaves tight rings.
S - More malt than hops for me. Sweet biscuit and some nice light floral, herbal hops.
T - More of an English style IPA than American IMO. Light biscuit, oats, balanced by bitterness from the hops. Earthy, floral, herbal.
M - Medium to thick body, low carb. Very smooth.
O - This is a nice take on the IPA style. I certainly appreciate the use of oatmeal.

Has a murky golden-yellow, I was up all night didnt pee until the next morning look going on.
A really nice white tight bubbled head.

Has a funky smell to it but in a good way.
Smelling some floral and piney hops? Not quite sure.

I think the oats really come thru in the mouthfeel. Its great. A good maltiness with some bitter up front. No lingering hop aftertaste.
The hops are underpowered here, which isnt a bad thing.

Would drink again.
