Under cover of cloak and darkness, we took a fresh batch of our new American IPA, Inhopnito, and added in 20lbs of fresh Jalapeños and pineapple purée. It’s a refreshing brew with a bite, medium body and bitterness, yet high in aroma and flavor.

Pours a lovely opaque golden color with a decent head that fades quickly. Jalapenos and pineapple come across in the aroma and are enticing. Taste wise, the jalapeno is definitely present and adds a subtle degree of heat, but not unpleasant. The pineapple reinforces the jalapeno flavor as a counterpoint. Mouthfeel is pleasant and it leaves a lingering, mild heat in your throat. I'm really digging this beer and would definitely buy more of it. As I mentioned earlier, the heat is mild and pretty mellow - if you don't like a little bit of heat then you should probably avoid this one because it is noticeable. I love it!

Can't believe nobody has entered this beer until now. It is an outstanding ale, Golden colored with a very good strong head which stays. The jalapeño flavor is just perfect - although we've noticed from batch to batch it can vary in hotness. Sometimes it is just the flavor of the jalapeño pepper. Other times it does have a kick which is still no more than moderate, and someone would say mild. We usually do not like flavored beers but this is an exception. Could drink this beer every day and wish we had access to it but can only get it when we visit the Northampton area of Massachusetts. Brewery is actually located in Deerfield. They start making this in late April, and we're not sure for how long. Go there and sample it, buy some cans! You won't believe it.

Not good. Jalepeno tasted rotten.

16 oz can into IPA glass. BBD 10/?/19
Look is hazy golden copper. Smell is first jalapeno. Taste is pepper first and a little pineapple sweetness follows. Feel is fairly light. Overall a nice IPA but I would like a little more pepper (but I'm a chili head). Would drink again if they brew it again.

Darker gold with a mild haze. Excellent rings and streaks for lace. Good but modest head.
The first whiff is of a freshly cut hot pepper. The second whiff brings about a light fruitiness. Unusual but appealing.
The flavor is a flip of the smell. It starts with fruity malt base but becomes dry and spicy quickly. The finish is not hot even though the pepper is very present. What's missing is any distinctive hop bitterness. The finish is dry and brief.
