This a strange one. The juice overwhelms most of the beer in the aroma and I don't smell the pepper. The taste is straight up juice up front before crushed by too much heat. Good for what it is but not for me.

Berkshire's Green Gown DIPA made with Carolina Reapers. Dangerously delicious and packs quite a punch. The heat from the reapers definitely lingers for a bit, so this beer isn't for those that have a low/mid level tolerance for heat. It's a light golden brown but not as hazy as the Green Gown IPA that its base is derived from. I had this off the tap so it had minimal head. As far as taste goes, the tingling sensation masks some of the hops. Overall it was a good spicy beer, but not as smooth as I had hoped. I believe this is a seasonal only offering, I've seen it pop up the last couple of years late fall/winter and is usually sold out by early spring.
