On-tap 8/4/10 at Track 84 in Warwick, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a dark gold color, with a short dense off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of wheat, caramelized malts, some citrus and some hops.
T: The taste starts out with a bready wheat flavor and a hearty malt character. A touch of sweetness comes in next along with a mild but complementary hops presence to create a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
D: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer that is worth drinking for a while if you're in the mood for the style.

On-draft at Track 84, served in a standard pint. Poured a light copper with an off-white slick of a head. Not much happening in the nose - maybe a light wheat character; very subdued. Taste is light - citrus, maybe some caramel malt, and a residual wheat finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium in consistency with an even, easy carbonation. Difficult to describe - an easy drinking APA with a little more malt character than I'm accustomed to. Nonetheless, interesting and quite tasty.

Simply titled "BBC Wheat" at the bar, must be the same beer.
A: Dark and hazy straw colored gold, with a thin white head that had come decent lacing.
S: Strong grainy presence, along with a sweet citrus scent.
T: Big wheat taste up front with a constant hit of citrus. There was a slight hoppy bite at the end, but covered with more malt. Quite tasty.
M: Maybe the best part of this beer, so velvety smooth and creamy. Along with the breadiness, for a lack of a better term, it was a winner of a wheat.
D: This was really easy to put down, and can have several, if you can find it!

On Tap last night at the Sierra Grille, reviewed from notes. Poured an orange-copper color with a small white head that leaves a medium coat of fine white lacing. A nice ring/cloud stays atop the beer which has a slight haze to it from the wheat. The nose was weak. I picked up some slight citrus and earthy hops and a bit of malts, not much. The taste had a very nice wheat/malty tasting backbone. Extremely bready. The hops are once again fruity/citrus/earthy and work well with the very nice malt backbone. It reminds me of a very bready ESB. The mouthfeel was nice. Moderate carbonation with a nice light body that is very creamy. A coat of the hops and low bitterness stays on the tongue along with some malt flavor. Drinkability is great. The price is great and the flavor good. The lighter body and flavors make for a very drinkable beer, would love to session this one.
