Aged in Julio's Loch & Key barrels
Pours a tan frothy 1/2 finger head with med retention, fair lacing, light legs, super dark basically black color
Nose sweet fudgey dark chocolate brownie, cocoa, vanilla barrel and oak, light whiskey, hazelnut and nutty coffee like, touch of roast, fair spices, light fudge, rich vanilla ice cream and vanilla barrel, ,
Taste rich smooth velvety chocolate ganache, vanilla ice cream and barrel, fair baking spice with cinnamon and little anise, touch of char and coffee, a bit nutty with more hazelnut, not much whiskey, lactose sugar, fair bitterness, spicy finish
Mouth is med to fuller bod, smooth creamy rich, med carb, smooth low alcohol
Overall it's OK, nothing special and much less barrel than I expected
