Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed deep copper color with a thick head of copper tinted foam. The head has an incredible level of retention, very slowly fading over time and leaving tons of foamy and streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is surprisingly light, with notes of roasted pumpkin and some biscuit malt. Along with these smells comes a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg as well as a very light caramel and molasses smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice roasted and toasted pumpkin flavor mixed with a good showing of bready and biscuit malt. There is more spice on the tongue then there is in the nose, with a moderate chowing of nutmeg and clove and a more subtle cinnamon flavor. A light molasses and brown sugar taste is there as well, with it getting weaker as the taste moves forward. All the while the malt and pumpkin build, being joined by a touch of earth, and leaving one with a nice pumpkin taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium in thickness and creaminess with a mild carbonation level.
Overall – A pretty nice pumpkin brew. I defiantly did not get too much of a doppelbock vibe, but still a rather solid pumpkin brew overall.

Bock - Doppelbock

Very nice mix of German Style dark toasty Dopplebock malts and the pumpkin puree sspect. Highly spiced, but the classic German malt flavor shines through. The balance of heady malts and spiced pumpkin works very well. One of the best of this style.
