Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – the beer pours a super hazy apricot orange color with a small head of dense white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a tropical fruit smell of mango and tangerine mixed with some aromas of apricot and peach. Along with these smells comes notes of herbal and pine as well as some notes of earthiness and some melon.
Taste – The taste begins with a heavy bready and tropical fruit flavor of mango, pineapple and papaya mixed tangerine and orange as well as some light grapefruit and pine. At the same time there is an earthiness and some hay and grain. As the taste advances there is an increase in the sweet with more fruit of an apricot and melon nature coming onto the scene. The hop gets a little bit stronger in nature more toward the end, and with an advent of some big oat and white bread one is left with a thick and sweeter taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is super thick and chewy with a mild carbonation level.
Overall – A sweet and malty DIPA with a creamy and more robust, slightly cloying taste. A bit too much for my taste, but OK overall.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a 12 oz 'beer can' style glass. Thick 2 fingered white head sits on an opaque apricot colored body of beer, presenting nicely! The aroma of grapefruit and pineapple is enticing. The first sip yields those citrusy, piney notes representing the Citra, El Dorado and Mosiac hops used for this brew. Good bitterness at the end to mask the 8% abv and cleanse the palate. Overall a fine DIPA at a reason price (it came as part of a 12 can package with other Berkshire IPAs).
