On-cask 6/26/2012 at Track 84, in Warwick, RI, served in an imperial pint glass.
A: The beer is a light yellow color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains a lot of citrus, light caramelized malts and a good amount of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with a strong citrus sweetness up front. Then a nice complementary hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, light-to-medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a very nice beer to pound down for a long time.
