Hazy golden color with off-white head. Aroma has some grassy yeast esters, dusty malts and some sugar. Taste starts on the sweet side with malt and sugar flavor. Some yeast spice throughout, also quite floral. Light body with medium plus carbonation. It's mostly a malt and yeast forward beer with some extra sweetness but it lacks complexity and depth of flavor.

750ml bottle purchased from the tourism office in Rochefort Belgium. Pours a hazy burnt yellow color with a fizzy white head. Looks like a urine sample but I won't hold that against it. Head breaks up rather quick to a minimal one. Thinnest of lace.
Real nice malt aroma. Smells somewhat sweet and delicious. Hints of spice and honey.
Taste is nice. Sweet, malt body has a great flavor. Honey taste is there and adds something nice. Really quite good.
Medium bodied mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation. Slight bite.
Hey, this is quite good. Swanky label with a monk and pigs had me wondering but I like this a lot.

Brown 33cl bottle, best before Dec 2012, drank as my third beer, but first of four honey flavoured beers on 'a random Belgian tasting evening' with the wife.
Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass. The beer is a golden honey colour, bright and clear. On top a lovely white cap of foam.
The aroma was of sweetness and light honey smells, as was the taste. The body was a lttle on the thin side, but the honey flavours stayed into the aftertaste reminding you this is a honey beer.
Different and well made, equally as good as the popular BarBar in my eyes (the third honey beer of the night).

BB apr-2006. Quiet clouwdy amberbrown beer with a avarage head, quiet good lasting and leaving good laces. Nose is very perfumed and honeylike good and fresh with a munichmalty background. Taste is full, matled and lots of fresh honey making it litle sweet but enjoyable to me who normally doesn't like sweet beers. Aftertaste is lightly bitter but mostle again this sweet flowery honeytaste. Mouthfeel is great having this plesant honeytaste in beer and after alcohol and bitterness is gone this flowery taste stays and leaves over the nose. Great example of a honey brew and well recomendable
