A gift from a non-beer friend who was so kind as to buy some beer in Belgium during a visit.

Nothing but an slightly below average beer. Maybe something a brewer friend could make in his home

Slightly cloudy, very effervescent on the pour but with zero head retention and no lacing. A faint aroma of acetone or cat pee. This beer presents some minor Belgian pale qualities including some far off spiciness. Overall a poor representation of the style. I will never drink this beer again unless I have only Bud as the other choice.

A: Cloudy orange color with a small white head that disappears quickly, and leaves scant lacing.
S: Aroma of orange peel and cinnamon.
T: Malts dominate the flavor, but light spice is present throughout.
M: Medium body, consistent with the style.
D: Not a bad beer, but nothing special. The bruin is slightly better.

This beer has been brewed for the festivities in La Roche en Ardenne.

An amber colored beer with a head that collapses, but leaves some nice lacing on the glass.

Smell is nice, very spicy yeastiness which is a little phenolic. The coriander is aromatic and the caramel is supporting the low maltiness.

Taste is spicy and phenolic, reminds me of pineapple. The hops are spicy and citric, a great fresh hoppiness that make this beer stand out. Bitterness is medium, but at the right level for this beer. Again the caramel maltiness is rounding off the big yeastiness. Body is just a little too thin and carbonation a bit too much.

BB sept 08. Not much head that soon disappears. Beer shows lots of quiet flocks and has orangeamber beercollor. Nose shows some citricsour orange, litle matlyness and litle koreander. Taste is litle sweetmalty, orange and shows quiet some yeastnote thats hanging. Well bittered but this yeasttaste gives it a soapy mouthfeel and taste. Tasted this beer twice once in Hasselt and tonight and both times same notes. Further quiet ok and drinkable but certainly no highflyer.
