Near opaque mahogany with a thin tan head. Lots of spice in the nose, anise, coriander, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Quite spicy beer. Anise, cinnamon, ginger among other sweet spices. The malt is rich and lightly biscuity which offsets the spices nicely. Full in the mouth with a sticky finish and lingering sweet spice in the aftertaste.
Not at all bad. Very tasty but a tad heavyhanded with the spice.

A murky red brown beer with a thin head.
Smell of liquorice, coriander and a fruity and even something artificial. The liquorice make the beer smell a bit salt.
Taste is liquorice with that salty taste, which in combination with the thin body make the beer quite astringent. A very spicy taste with thyme, coriander and light molasses. The malt is caramellic and a bit sweet.
The spices in here are not as subtle as they should be and are dominating the beer, which also inhibits drinkability.
