At the brewery.
Amber color with a thick head with decent retention.
Mild aroma with notes of malt sweetness and a bit of grapefruit citrusy.
Flavor with notes of pine, some resin, grapefruit citrusy, caramel and papaya. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Decent APA, though it felt a bit English to me. More on the traditional side; it came across mildly and not complex.

a very balanced and drinkable american pale, but pretty run of the mill as they go. we had this alongside the new mosaic hopped edition, and all prefered the new one. this just doesnt smell all that hoppy, and has a whole heap of toasty tasting biscuity malt in here, so while its not necessarily sweet like the pales that employ too much crystal and caramel malts, its is bready and grainy, and i think that balance comes at the expense of a cleaner crisper hop complexion. i like the flavor, and its all pretty mild, so its a great session brew, especially at this abv, and fresh from the tap at the brewery, its upbeat and new feeling. i just think they are a little short on the hop editions, but i could see this being the beer a newcomer to craft might latch on top, not so hoppy as to be a turnoff for those not yet hip to these types of beers, but flavorful enough to easily be a step up from any macro type beers. balance is key, but sometimes balance can be boring. one of my least favorites from our visit in to wynwood. the new mosaic edition beautifully answers my criticism...
