From 22oz bottle.
No where does it say what type of beer it is. But looking at its 11% and it being Barrel aged, i’d Figured it to be a Strong Ale. It looks, smells and taste like one. If this was a true strong ale then it’s top notch 4.50
BA lists it as a DIPA? Really a hop forward beer, no way! If it is then it’s a bad example. Since I grade for style then it’s a 3.50

Appearance: dark amber in color with a 1/2" head that lasts a bit. Some lace develops.
Smell: earthy tones and some grapefruit are detectable.
Taste: bready malt sweetness, grapefruit, dark fruits, and an earthy bitterness. Alcohol is noticeable.
Mouthfeel: medium-heavy in body. Light crispness throughout with a dry finish.
Overall: an enjoyable slow sipping big DIPA.

This has to be the closest to the perfect ipa I've tasted. Just a hop punch to the mouth. Besides the gran pops this might be wbc best beer.
