Appearance: amber in color with some reddish tones. A short 1/4" head lingers a bit.
Smell: fruity with a bit of funk.
Taste: grainy malt, grapefruit, slightly tart grapes, red wine, cracked pepper, and a hint of funk. Mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel:medium bodied. Crisp from start to finish. Long lasting aftertaste.
Overall: an interesting saison from red wine barrels. Enjoyable.
