Had a draft poured in a glass at Wynwood brew on 5/30/2023. Fruity mosaic citrus notes and taste smooth not over powering. Good beer.

Bottled 3/25/22. Two fingers of white foamy head sits atop a deep gold liquid with excellent clarity; very good cap retention; heavy ring and lots is sudsy lacing. Grapefruit nose, then just a whiff of earthy/skunky hops as beer warms. Entry is grapefruit; light bitter Meyers lemons; firm malt base; some tropical fruit in middle; grapefruit seals the deal. Crisp clean mouthfeel; medium light body; moderate minus carbonation; no astringency; no alcohol presence from 6.9% abv. Overall an excellent Southern-style American IPA; lovely light bitter citrus peel linger (50 IBU); an easy drinking hot weather IPA - a pounder!

I don't know how to properly rate a beer (I've never rated one), but this beer deserves more that the one comment on this forum. I'm blessed to live in Florida where I can get Jai Alai IPA anywhere (grocery stores, gas station, etc.). It is a solid IPA that is my go to beer. I basically have two go to beers: Jai Alai and Guinness Extra Stout. I often try other IPAs (because it's my favorite beer style), but always go back to Jai Alai. I picked this up recently, and damn... this is a good IPA. It's similar to Jai Alai. I've since had three six pack bottles, and have drunk them along side Jai Alai cans. This is a fantastic (to my taste) IPA like Jai Alai. If you like Jai Alai, try this. For rating, I looked at what Jai Alai was rated (95) and made my rating the same for this. I've not have the highfalutin IPAs like Pliny the Foo Foo, but I've tried ALOT of IPAs. This is worth trying.

On tap. Pours deep golden with white head. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of tropical fruit, bready malt and citrusy hops. Finish is long and dry. Nice brew.
