Aug. 2014: Keg at The Albion House Tavern, St. Peter’s Port, Guernsey. Very pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Some malts in the aroma. Medium fizzy and lagerish mouthfeel. The flavour has a little malts, and some hops in the finish, but not much of either. Some bitterness in the aftertaste, but hardly any hop flavour besides the bitterness. Won’t buy again.

The web site says the following about this blonde- This is a sparkling light and refreshing beer, brewed in the craft style. The lager malt provides a hint of biscuit with an aromatic citric hop arising from the blend of Saaz and Hallertau varieties. Blonde is a well balanced, easy drinking beer, best served chilled.
It certainly looks the part of a lager, and you can taste the hops. On a hot day it goes down well, but having tried this once, maybe not my first choice next time.
