This is a slightly spiced pale ale, with a hint of black butter, a Jersey traditionally made product going back 100's of years. La Mare Wine Estate in the north of the island was the place where this was historic was produced . The beer come in a 500ml size bottle & pours a medium brown colour with a slight white foamed head. Aromas of black butter entice you in to tasting, where you find the black butter has caramel & slight liquorice flavours.. with a aftertaste of liquorice with mild bitterness. This is a beer I could definitely have a second off!
