Enjoyed as part of a flight at the brewery and at home with a growler.
A: Pours a pale cloudy straw colour with 2 fingers of white head. Minimal lacing clings to the sides of the glass.
S: Sweet malts paired with lemon juice, yeast, grains and mineral notes. Faint spices in the background of white pepper and coriander. The combination of the yeast, lemon and the powdery sweetness is reminiscent of a lemon cake batter.
T: The pale malt sweetness of cream of wheat is upfront along with notes of lemons and minerals. Lightly spiced in the middle of white pepper and possibly coriander. Finish is lightly bitter and chalky dry.
M: Light to medium bodied with active carbonation. Light, dry and refreshing.
O: The lightly sweet malts paired with yeasty grains and lemon results in a highly sessionable, approachable and refreshing. This was one of my favourites from the flight I had at the brewery.
