Our most simple beer, yet the one we agonize over the most.
English malts combine with the classic Cascade hop to create, what we hope will be your favourite, fridge filling “Welcome Home” beer.

Single 16 ounce can from the brewery in Vancouver - packaged February 11, 2026.
Pours a bright essentially clear reddish amber to bronze colour with two plus fingers of dense creamy tawny coloured head; delicate lacing.
Aroma initially a touch muted - as warmed bready, hints of toffee and caramel, grapefruit peel with some floral notes.
Notes of rye bread on the palate, again some caramel sweetness, toffee followed by some citrus peel with a bright spicy and floral hop bitterness.
Medium mouthfeel with relatively brisk carbonation on a smooth bittersweet finish. Reminiscent of Landlord that has been dosed with Cascade hops.

5 oz globe snifter sample poured at the brewery taproom (visited 29-May-17). Slightly hazy bronze with good head and intricate white lace. Citrus, slightly spicy and resinous hops and yeasty bread on the nose. Mild caramel flavor with more citrus and earthy hops. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation. Well balanced - easy to drink a few of these.
