This was a special collaboration beer between Brassneck and Occidental for the Alibi Rooms 500th tap list.
A: A murky brown oak or tannin tainted pond water poured with 2 finger that settled downy to a single minimal rim without lacing.
S: Sweet toffee and toasty whole grain bread with notes of tannins and wet woods. Clean and fresh scent over all, decidedly masculine - like what a mans colleague should smell like...not like a bare chested twink.
T: Cask wood bark and toffee with yeasts and lightly roasted nuts. Inherent toasty sweetness reminiscent of toasted whole wheat bread. Some alcohol esters on the back end that support the flavours.
M: Medium bodied with light carbonation and a clean finish.
O: Malty with wet wood notes that is clean, approachable and easy drinking and paired perfectly with homemade pizza. Would be a nice addition to Brassneck's rotating list.
