Amarillo & Citra hopped pale ale
FIRST BREWED: August 2014
Yeah, we know, we’ve got a few pale ales on the go but we really enjoy tweakin’ the recipes & messing around with different hops.
This guy does show similarities to the Passive Aggressive, but we dialed back the booze content with a lighter malt bill. It’s got lots of hop aroma & flavour coming from Amarillo & Citra hops but it’s not over bearing on the ol’ bitterness.
The Wingman has no intention of stealing the lime light from the Passive Aggressive & is guaranteed to have your back when you need it most.

Brassneck Brewery 'Wingman' Amarillo & Citra Pale Ale @ 5.5% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is gold from the can to a clear dark gold in the glass with a medium size white head leaving a fine spotty lace along the tulip
S-nice combo of Amarillo & Citra - hops
T-crisp & clean PNW Pale Ale , hops dominate and a mellow bitterness on the swallow
MF-ok carbonation , medium body
Ov-equal to 'Passive Aggressive Pale Ale' , maybe a bit better

Single pint can from the taproom in Vancouver.
Pours a really nice dark golden verging to orange with 2 good fingers of tight white head.
Aroma of head is piney - citrus; mango, orange, hints of pineapple - as head fades get some more sweet maltiness.
Taste is really well balanced - mildly hoppy with pine and ripe orange offset by nice caramel malty sweetness - bready. Very drinkable - medium mouthfeel - leaving with a slightly dry crisp finish - would compare well to Daisy Cutter from Half Acre.
