Really expected to like this one more, and it was really good, just not excellent.
Poured stout black and had a dense brown head that stayed around a while.
The aroma was lost on my Covid damaged nose.
The taste was different than expected, vanilla comes across as cinnamon, but mild, and the hazelnuts were more of an essence than flavor. The wafer cookies and cocoa nibs were not noticed. It was very tasty, but I think they tried to do too much or something.
The feel was fine, well suited viscosity for an imperial stout.
OA, good, but not awesome, beer. YMMV!
