On-tap at the brewery, served in a tulip.
A: Served a deep clear amber with a small fuzzy light brown head. Spotty lace was left down the glass.
T: Caramel and bread crust amber notes come through with a balancing amount of sour. I get hints of dark fruits, red grapes skins, a clean acidic bite, slightly tannic, and a fruit characteristic that is not necessarily fruity. Slight lemon finish, creamy buttery oak aftertaste and lingering tartness.
S: The nose is light, with scents of mild cherry juice, oak tannins, dry earthy barrel, slight caramel and fruit pits.
M: Medium full body with a good chew to the mouthfeel, a slick and heavy body, soft carbonation that froths up on my palate, and a sharp sour lingering bite.
O: A really good, light, and easy sour. Clean and easy to drink.
