This poured out as a nice looking orange color with a thin white head on top. The smell of the beer is loaded with citrus and lactic funk. The taste of the beer is similar to the nose. lots of juicy citrus followed but some tart acidic flavors in the finish. The feel of the beer is light bodied. Overall it was a very good beer.

Growler poured into Ambassador stemware.
A: Pours a glowing clear orange with a finger of fuzzy and active bright white head that faded into a thin and lasting collar. Wisps of lace were left down the glass.
S: Very bright and vibrant nose full of sweet, ripe, juicy orange with a touch of lemon zest. There's a clean lactic tartness as well. The combination really reminds me of an orange flavored pixie stick or other orange candy.
T: taste similarly reminds me of sour orange candy. I wasn't expecting the orange to add so much sweetness (as opposed to acid citrus), but to me it does. The orange flavor is rounded out and accentuated by the lemon, which gives the flavor a bit more depth and complexity than if this were just an orange beer. The finish is drying with a clean lactic tartness and mild mineral character. The aftertaste has a lingering sweetness mixed with tart acid and just a hint of the pale base beer.
M: Clean medium-light body, drying mouthfeel but with a nice lingering sweetness, bright carbonation, tingly spritzy citrus dances on my tongue.
O: Very delicious orange flavored beer. I don't think I've had an orange-dominate sour before, and this is executed very well. I was worried this would this beer would be too tart from the lacto and the citrus, but I was pleasantly surprised how sweet it was.
