Pours a blonde golden colour, slightly hazed with a ring of white head-on lace. Smell is quite fruity and funk, bretty and musty, coconut. Taste is like the nose funky with lots of fruit flavours, pineapple and citrusy, lightly sour as well. Medium carbonation, medium full body. Solid stuff here, I may have the batch i'm reviewing wrong but that ABV on the bottle was 5.3%

Deep gold with a fast fading white head. Yet again, smell a Rare Barrel offering; taste a Rare Barrel offering and just shake your head with delight. This place is making beer that is super drinkable and super appealing, balanced and creative - one of the best places in the country for well made, balanced, drinkable and simply delicious sours - period.

This one is complex in all regards. Earthy, orange tones, lemoney, tart, citric, and all with underlying stone fruit tones simply inviting more and more tastes; nay, not tastes - gulps! That's how good this stuff is.

On-tap at TRB.

A: Served a deep golden with a thin cap of white foam. A thin collar lasted most of the beer through.
S: Musty nose, slight golden fruit mixed with musty wood and bright acidity. Mild earthy spice.
T: Funky yeast and bugs, stone fruits, spice, and bright and sharp tartness. Interesting complexity of yeast driven flavors. Mild stone fruit, and golden fruits linger in the finish, acidic and funky aftertaste.
M: Very prickly carbonation and acidic medium body. Sharp finish from biting acidity and sharp carbonation. Slight mineral quality. Touch of lemon acidity and touch of pineapple acidity.
O: Sharper and maybe more acidic than last batches, although I remember the last batch being a bit rough around the edges compared to their other beers. Nice complexity between wood and yeast flavors, but a bit sharp.
