On-tap at THG. Tulip.
A: Served a hazy apricot color with a thin short lived bubbly white cap.
S: Both apricot and grapefruit are easily noticeable, but apricot is juicy and stands out more. Smells very tart with both citrus juice and lactic acid. Mild funk.
T: Apricot up front, grapefruit and lemony acid in the finish. Bright and tart. One of their most tart beers. Tons of acid. Apricot fades once the initial juiciness goes away.
M: Tart and biting acid but very dry and clean. Dry as a desert with a crisp mouth and frothy tingly carbonation. Bright lactic bite. Medium, light body.
O: Interesting. It's noticeable on the nose, but I probably wouldn't guess grapefruit was in this if I didn't know it. The apricot is not a straight forward apricot flavor either - more of a suggestion. One of their most tart and dry yet.

This poured out as a nice orange color with a thin white head on top. The smell of the beer is citrusy with a hefty amount of funk on the nose too. The taste is tart and fruity, some acidity in the finish. The feel is light bodied and dry. Overall it's a pretty good wild ale.

Golden pour, thin off white head. Apricots and grapefruit in the sour aroma.
Orange and apricot taste, assertively sour. Highly carbonated. Grapefruit in the mouthfeel. Clean sourness, not much if any funk to it. Oak is present, adequate. Not gonna make anyone forget about fou fune (or even Map of the Sun from the same brewery), but its a nice beer, would bang at $20 or less per bottle.
