L: Dark brown color with hints of ruby red and a small carbonated head.
S: Apricot and lactic acid, some sour dark fruits and hints of agave and tequila.
T: Tart lactic acid and apricot, with some dark sour fruits and nice sourness at the end. The tequila isn't overly moticeable.
F: Medium body and higher carbonation.
O: A solid sour, not my favorite Rare Barrel beer but still tasty.

On-tap at the brewery. 10oz tulip.
A: Served a deep mahogany with cranberry highlights beneath a thin cap of disappearing light tan foam.
S: Juicy apricot and tart lactic mixed with acidic red fruits and maybe a hint of barrel spice.
T: The base beer imparts flavors of tart red berries, slight dark fruit, and slight candied fruit. There's a light leather and agave presence, but to me this doesn't scream tequila. Apricot is sweet and juicy in the finish, and I get notes of current and cranberry flavors lingering in the aftertaste.
M: There's a sharp lactic bite of acidity to the mouthfeel along with fuzzy carbonation made up of tight, tingly bubbles. I get a touch of rough acetone-like flavor of harsh plastic or vinegar in the finish. The mouthfeel is fairly drying, with a medium-light body and a drying finish. Very tart and acidic overall.
O: A good dark sour with great flavors of juicy apricot. I don't think I've had an apricot sour with a dark base beer before. The tequila isn't as noticeable as Dubious Nights, but I'm not sure if it's necessarily supposed to stand out. There is tons of tart acidity in this that to me was a bit rough around the edges. Very puckering overall with the tartness lingering long after the swallow.
