Growler into stemware.
A: Pours a cloudy powdery light violet with a cap of off white foam that quickly faded into nothing.
S: The nose is full of semi-sweet blackberry notes along with a clean acidic tartness. I get hint of grapefruit and slight musty funk as well.
T: Juicy balance between sweet and juicy blackberry with a touch of bitter and semi sweet grapefruit. Grapefruit is actually rather juicy and reminiscent of fresh ripe fruit instead of the expected kind of bitter IPA pith flavor. There's a good dose of bright lactic tartness that's not overpoweringly acidic, balanced by a bit of residual sugar sweetness and fruit juice. The finish is full of juicy grapefruit, and the aftertaste is full of sweet blackberry. There's a very mild earthy quality throughout, and the tartness is citrus like and almost lemony, although it's probably just a combination of the lactic acid and the grapefruit.
M: Medium-light body, drying mouthfeel with a touch of gritty tannins, but not bone dry. Pleasant to drink overall. Grapefruit compliments the black berry well.
O: Easy to drink, one of their best in a while. The little kick of juicy sweetness really helps balance the acidity in this beer.

Poured from a growler.
Look: Lightly tinted pink head that fades away quickly and vibrant ruby red in color.
Smell: Grapefruit and not getting any blackberries.
Taste: Juicy grapefruit and some blackberries at the end.
Feel: Super duper sour. Worked well with the grapefruit but wished there was more blackberries. Carbonation was pretty high and adds to the intense sourness.
Overall: Another well made beer by TRB. This could replace my grapefruit juice and coffee in the morning.
