On-tap at the brewery. Reviewed from notes.

A: Served a deep cranberry-mahogany color with a thin cap of light tan head.
T: The flavors are full of caramel and an almost roasted flavor with deep and rich notes of semisweet and semi-tart cherries. The cherry has that classic Bing cherry flavor with almost a black cherry quality. Deep and rich cherry without too much sweetness. Tartness is balancing and not harsh. Not overly dry but some gritty tannins in the finish. Pickering sourness. Peppery and earthy depth to the cherry. Tart cherry mixes with the Bing to create the flavor of when you get a Bing cherry that isn't quite ready yet.
S: Dark cherry notes with a touch of caramel, raisin and wood. Subtle peppery and earthy funk, cherry is black cherry with just a kiss of fruity sweetness. Slight acidity to the nose along with subtle dried dates and cranberries.
M: Fuzzy and bright carbonation, medium body, with a blast of tartness and drying finish with some residual sweetness mixed in with a touch of gritty tannins.
O: Great authentic cherry taste that actually tastes like the flavor of the cherries you get at the store. I'd of thought there'd be a bit more complexity to the bugs/funk from the Cascade portion, but the sourness and acidity seemed more akin to TRB house character. I loved the authentic cherry flavor in this one.

Collaboration with Cascade that, as expected, straddles the line between the two breweries housestyles to form an easy drinking deep cherry concoction. Acidity is toned down, body is in the medium range, no cherry cinnamon notes or medicinal follow through ... some tannic grip of oak and cherry pits.
