On-tap at the brewery. Tulip.
A: Lightly cloudy opaque lemon with soft cap of white foam that faded into a thick collar. Thick patches of soapy lace were left down the glass.
S: Bright Meyer lemon and lemon meringue pie nose with hints of bitter pith and herbal coriander.
T: Creamy Belgian style yeast notes mixed with lemon verbena, perfume, earthy spice, and doughy, creamy, slightly peppery, yeast. Kiss of candy like sweetness in the finish and a touch of orange. Like an orange hard candy sweetness. The aftertaste has notes of herbal coriander and mild spice.
M: Soft and fluffy carb, soft and creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Very mild tartness with almost no acidity and a low pithy bitterness.
O: Damn drinkable with great citrus and spice flavors. Surprised how I was getting more lemon than orange in this. Definitely on the wit-style spectrum.
