Bottle from the brewery in Berkeley, CA. Pours a clear yellow gold with a finger of foamy white head that dissipates, nice lacing, smell is tart apple flesh, funky white grape juice, fruity white wine, oak, hint of kiwi and Brett funk, taste follows the nose with green apple, funky white wine, oak, hint of Brett funk, feel is light and bright, dry finish. A great mildly tart and funky wine forward mixed culture lager.

The Lagfather Part III is the third part of our collaboration with Laughing Monk Brewing. This Helles lager was first brewed in August of 2019 and a portion of the brew was brought to The Rare Barrel to age in oak barrels that previously housed mixed culture beer. (source: The Rare Barrel)
