Had this one a few years ago out in the parking lot picnic bench area at Rare Barrel, or whatever its called these days (Cellarbarrel?). Pours a hazy dull yellow color with 4/5" white head at the top of a plastic cup for outdoor drinking. The head retention is impressive for this style of beer. Surprise, surprise as the Stones song goes.
Aroma of strawberries. Not really sure I can pull rhubarb itself out, its always tempered with the strawberry sweetness it seems. Taste and mouthfeel gives the kick, punch rhubarb and strawberry combination. Its not quite New Glarus level of deliciousness, but its plenty enjoyable even if at a significantly higher price. Plenty of that rare barrel sourness/tartness, fuck yo teeth enamel, nah not really. For being a golden ale, it has a viscosity and heft to it. Just meatier than your average blonde ale base it seems. A little sting of alcohol and bitterness to it alongside acidity and sourness for sure.

A: Poured into a tulip glass to a light golden orange beer which is topped by a dense and slightly rocky two fingers of white head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of oaky funk, a little tartness, some strawberries and a bit of rhubarb
T: Taste is a little funky up front before the sourness comes in along with the strawberries and some more tartness from the rhubarb. Hints of pleasant oak as well as a touch of pale malt. On the finish it leads off with a nice blast of sourness before the oaky funk and strawberries come back around
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of things but it avoids being watery. Carbonation is effervescent and adequate for the style while the beer has a drying finish from the acidity.
O: Overall this is a really enjoyable beer. Really nice sourness and some great complexity help to make this a very fun beer to drink.

12.7oz bottle. No dating information found, but does have '22' on the label.
Cloudy, bright straw colored body. Brief fizzy head. No lacing.
Aroma is rather subdued, with strawberry and oak notes.
Taste has an outpouring of strawberry and balancing lemon. Good infusion of oak barrel. Semi-sweet strawberry and oak balance in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, but quick to pass through the mouth. Tart overall in expression. Good supportive carbonation.
"Thicc" sour ale, with strawberry and lemon. Complexity added from the oak barrel.
