Mixed Fermentation Beer with Cot n' Candy White Apriums
Thousands of pounds of Cot N' Candy White Apriums from Frog Hollow Farm in Brentwood, CA were hand processed and conditioned upon a blend of eight and thirteen month old mixed fermentation beer. With subtle notes of tropical fruit and hay bales in the background, the stonefruit character shines in the foreground with huge fruity and floral aromatics. Hi Up There is loaded with pure Aprium goodness unique to this slightly off-centered varietal.

Appearance: Slightly cloudy straw-yellow color with a generous-sized, thick, and white head that slowly faded. A nice-looking beer.
Smell: Mild funk, tart tropical fruit aromas, and some grassy/hay aromas. A complex and great smelling beer.
Taste: Tart fruit notes, some mild barnyard funk and some mild hay/straw notes. The beer has a semi-dry finish with some faint citrus fruit notes.
Mouth-feel: Moderate-bodied with a fairly generous level of carbonation.
Overall: A good sour, which has a tasty flavor profile.

Imperial Pint
Look: Light yellow straw, slightly hazy. Pouring a 1.5 finger head which dissipated into a thin cap
Smell: Traditional sour smell wit tropical fruits and sugary candy note
Taste: High Tartness, some salt, wild ale funk, tropical fruit and a hint of cotton candy. Alcohol on the backend
Feel: Light mouthfeel with high carbonation and semi-crisp finish
Overall: Its alright, funky and sour. Wish there was some more influence from the apriums though
