A: Poured into a tulip to a sightly hazy pale yellow which is topped by a fluffy three fingers of white head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with excellent lacing
S: Smells of pleasant faded hops with some slight wine like character, light sourness, a touch of oak, and some nice guava. The finish on this beer is more sourness, faded hops, guava, oak, and lingering white wine notes from the hops.
T: taste is some nice white wine notes, some building sourness, light oak, and some guava. The finish on this beer is more sourness, faded hops, guava, oak, and lingering white wine notes from the hops.
M: This beer has a moderate amount of body on the palate. Carbonation is lightly effervescent and adequate while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a really pleasant beer with a nice amount of complexity. Once rare barrel dialed back the acidity they really started to hit home runs again.

I have no idea why they named the brew its name…was expecting maple-y or southwestern, but this is elegant and citrusy and tropical. Either way it’s delicious. Cloudy, creamsicle appearance, super sudsy. Lots of guava and lactic acid in the nose, which follows on the palate. Dry and citrusy in the palate with a quick, clean finish. Crisp and refreshing.
