Slightly hazy amber with a large soapy head. Light perfumy citrus nose. Medium malt body, very even, good malt flavour. Pleasant crispness.

Serving Type: 500 mL Pour into a Grimross Tulip at The Snooty Fox (Fredericton, NB)
A- Pours a hazy copper-golden colour topped by a 1/2 finger white head. Lots of lacing on the glass.
S- Distinct aroma of Citrus (more on the grapefruit side of things) along with a bit of graininess.
T- As with the aroma, the taste is dominated by grapefruit but is nicely balanced with a dry grain flavour.
M- medium body with moderate carbonation.
O- A great example of the American Pale Ale that's not only easy to drink, but is quite tasty. Another great brew from Grimross and I have to say, it's nice to see that they can make great beer outside of the typical Belgian styles that they brew with.

firstly I'm not quite sure I'm reviewing the correct beer. I got a growler of maritime amber from the brewery, not sure if the maker changed something or its the same beer. either way its great. very nice amber .pours clear copper with nice carb, nice 2 finger head which stays around a while. nice deep orange coppery colour. nose is citrus hops and an earthy grain. which matches the taste with bright citrus hops at first with an almost orange peel resinous follow up. the after taste leaves malty earthy bitterness, but not offensive in any way. mouthfeel is crisp at first then levels out to a nice flat end. overall this is an interesting citrusy and grainy very drinkable ale. I will continue to review grimross in the future, everything I've tried from them has been great, more reviews to come.
