I really really want to love the things that are coming out of this brewery but having a tough time due to thin body. The nose is really spot on, the flavor profile doesn't scream artificial ingredients (although there probably are some), but another beer that is exceptionally thin and almost watery -- i guess that's better than thin and cola like that i got from the last one from here.

Brew Rebellion's The King Banana and Peanut Butter Stout. 10.1% ABV.
Quite a bit of air burst out upon opening, but no foam; which is good.
A: Dark tan head; about a finger and then some, but it doesn't last long at all. Black in the glass. Dark brown in the dimple, with a reddish edge. Solid sheeting, with slight ragged edges. Thin ring of lacing; falls apart and sinks pretty quickly. Faint inkiness.
S: Same banana chip straight out of the bottle, like the Chocolate Banana, with a touch of peanut butter. After eyeballing the look, and going in for a nose, the peanut butter has come forward quite a bit. Nutty, dry, kind of grainy peanut butter. Nothing overly sweetened. Made with roasted nuts. There's a hint a the banana chips, now. Funny how that flipped so quickly.
T/MF: Okay. It's not quite as thin as the Chocolate Banana, or Peanut Butter stouts. Still, not as thick as a stout should be. Dark roast coffee. Slight roast peanut butter. Peanut shell. A bit flat, flavorwise.
Poured from a 22 oz. bottle, into a Belgian tulip glass.
